This drawing of Marv from Sin City was my way of capturing the gritty, noir atmosphere the story is known for. I wanted the piece to feel like it was pulled straight from the pages of the graphic novel, with deep shadows, sharp contrasts, and a heavy rain-soaked mood. Using graphite on smooth Bristol paper allowed me to create rich blacks, soft gradients, and the fine details that bring Marv’s rough exterior and intense expression to life.

Every mark in this piece was done by hand, layering tones to achieve that stark black and white cinematic feel. It is signed and ready for fans of Sin City, lovers of noir-style art, or anyone who appreciates bold, dramatic storytelling through drawing.
